Cruise Lines A-Z

"The Caribbean has always held a certain allure for kiwis.  It's the home of calypso, banana boats and rum cake, as well as many diverse, unique cultures and cuisines.   It's a white-sanded paradise offering beautiful scenery and warm aqua-blue seas.  Heavenly.

Spread from the Bahamas in the north, to the Yucatan Peninsula in the west and northern coastline of South America in the south, you really need to chat to someone who knows this area well to make sure you get what you're expecting.  Even the differences between the Eastern and Western Caribbean will surprise you.  From "down under" in New Zealand we tend to think of the Caribbean as one destination, but it's so incredibly varied.  There are also many different embarkation points to reach the Caribbean, and many different styles of cruise and ship, so the options are endless.  Make sure the next time you're travelling either to the USA or via the USA to Europe that you consider adding on a cruise in the Caribbean - there are many cost-effective ways to sneak on an extra week to check out this jaw-dropping cruise destination".  - Jo Corbett, World Travellers Consultant
